Margarette had been a member of First Christian Church in Wills Point since the age of fourteen.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Lewis Steadham, brothers, William Johnson, Daroe Johnson and S.J. Johnson and granddaughter, Cheryl Elizabeth Johnston.

Margarette is survived by her daughter, Cheryl Steadham Bunch, (Class of 1964) of Saratoga, Arkansas; son, Steve Steadham, (Class of 1966) and wife, Judy of Edgewood; grandchildren, Stacey Ellis and husband, Charlie of Wills Point, Kyle Steadham of Plano, Stevan Johnston of Alba and Charles Bunch and wife, Amber of Wills Point; great-grandchildren Zach Johnston, Brittany Johnston, Brian Nichols, Hailey Bunch and Sarah Ellis; great-great-grandchildren, Dylan Nichols and Collin Nichols; and of course, Ty, her kitty.
