Shelton, Della (b27)

Funeral services for Della T. Shelton, 80, of Wills Point, are scheduled for 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 30, 2007, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home Chapel in Wills Point with Kenneth Sweet officiating. Interment will be at Union Grove Cemetery north of Wills Point.

She passed away December 25, 2007, at her residence.

Della was born November 2, 1927, in Henderson County, the daughter of James I. Tidmore and Lena Jane West Tidmore. She was raised in Henderson County and attended public school in Brownsboro. On January 27, 1960, she married James C. "Buster" Shelton in Dallas. In 1963, Della moved to Wills Point where she managed the Towne House Cafe'. Later she was employed at Dairy Maiden, Dairy Mart and Bonnie's Restaurant. She enjoyed gardening and canning.

Preceded in death by her parents; husband; brother, James Tidmore; sister, Fern Ozell Allen and a step-daughter, Eva Shelton Bentley.

Della is survived by two sons, Silas Kennemer, of Ft. Worth and Gary Crawford, of Terrell; daughter, Linda Leath & husband, Gene, of Wills Point; brother, Hiram Tidmore & wife, Dorothy, of Kaufman; brother-in-law, A.J. Allen, of Dallas; nine grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Memorials may be made to Always & Ever Hospice, 402 E. College, Terrell, Texas 75160.
