You may have been the recipient of a "Made with love by Nana" garment or baby quilt. You may have eaten her peanut butter cookies or her fried chicken. You may have gotten cards and notes in the mail, written in her distinctive hand. You may have been a regular on her phone list. But if you knew her at all, if you were part of her circle of family and friends, you can believe absolutely that she prayed for you and yours every single day.
She is survived by: her daughter Angela; her deeply beloved grandchildren Adam R. Bailey, New Orleans, LA, Steve and Johanna Bailey Lara, Elgin, TX, and Joe P. and Jennifer Bailey Williams, Kyle, TX; her four adored great-grandsons: Mateo Lara, Nicolas Williams, Silas Lara, and Ethan Williams; her brother and sisters John D. and Lue Jean Beck of Wills Point, TX and Carolyn Sue Beck Shell of Dallas; her treasured nieces and nephews, including the greats; a multitude of friends; and several generations of former students from her forty-year career as a teacher in Burkburnett, Hooks, Myrtle Springs and Wills Point.
Family visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 11, at Allan Fuller Funeral Home in Wills Point. Graveside services will be conducted by the Reverend Ray Reed at White Rose Cemetery, Wills Point, TX at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, under the direction of Allan Fuller Funeral Home.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to any organization that directly assists children with medical or educational needs, to any group providing elder or hospice care, or to any local or school library.
